MOBILE LIBRARY

The MAHATMAN mobile library started in 2020 aims to cater the needs of the people living in rural areas and different cities. Our foundation has introduced this library as an initiative to promote reading and understanding among people of different age groups. We promote an overall development in an individual’s brain and body by making them accessible to knowledge. It provides library as well as recreational services at the doorsteps of the readers through mobile vans.
MISSION: To reach a wider range of population in the rural as well as urban areas and widen their knowledge and skills/ To help people realise their own potential on their way to attain overall development./ Development through realisation and actualisation. 2) Promotion of equity of services by enhancing opportunities to the populations with varied needs.
VISION: To promote reading as a life-long ability, to promote literacy on the traces of improvement and to provide a range of accessible materials. 2) To promote life-long learning in the rural sectors by giving them equal opportunities to expand and flourish. 3) To ignite social responsibility among people, to strengthen the communities and to revamp the lifestyle of people.

OPERATIONS
We engage in various locations which include far fledged villages, schools, public parks, residential societies,outside of malls and public halls in localities. We conduct computer classes, games sessions and brain drilling activities for the children as well as others. Several activities take place at our locations including puzzling sessions, competitions catering to paintings, logical reasonings, story tellings and several others. A defined curriculum is followed while conducting classes which make the base of the learnings clear. The library is fully equipped with books for different age groups and offers a favourable environment!

We aim at making our books reach a wider spectrum of people with your help. You can donate how much ever books you want to! We welcome second hand as well as new books of any genres. Your books would be collected from you and placed in our vans for others to read.
